Background

You can think of CSI, or systems redesign, as re-engineering DMV's core business services and infrastructure. This re-engineering will make our systems more flexible and secure. That means we will be able to make changes more easily to accommodate new legislation, new technologies, and new customer demands. A more flexible system will also allow us to give our customers more personalized service. And, greater security means less chance for fraud. Below is information the CSI team will use to build DMV's new information system.
