Phase 1 (Completed February 15, 2007)

The re-engineering Contractor (CACI, Inc.) led DMV executive level focus groups through a methodical process to validate our vision and strategic objectives, establish guiding principles, and document high level business requirements for all components identified within the scope of the DMV CSI Systems Redesign project.

This approach created a high level customer-centric future state model consisting of seven core process areas (credentialing, service delivery, financial management, tax processing, infrastructure services, inventory, and business intelligence). The model supports the business needs of the agency including customer relationship management, internal controls, auditing, and fraud prevention and detection.
