Business Intelligence
The Business Intelligence component of CSI crosses over all facets of DMV business and focuses on establishment of effective tools for managing our agency at all levels. These tools will facilitate prompt management responses to changing business conditions by providing access to system data in real-time at our desktops. Questions from customers, business partners, and stakeholders should be able to be researched and answered through the real-time analysis of warehouse data. This will facilitate faster response times and support "first contact" resolution. Well-designed management reports and dashboard updates on key performance indicators will facilitate monitoring the extent to which we are meeting our customer needs. An interface to the agency's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system will allow us to create connectivity between customer trends and budgetary impacts. Specific topics addressed through this CSI component include: metrics and decision support, audits, and fraud prevention and detection.
