Vendor Guide
The RFP for CSI-Systems Redesign has been released and is available for downloading from eVA at http://www.eva.virginia.gov/. Click on Solicitations and Awards, then search on keyword CSI.
The sole point of contact for all questions and communications regarding the CSI procurement is Nancy Davis at nancy.davis@dmv.virginia.gov.
Any changes to the solicitation will be made by written addendum which will be posted to eVA. DMV will make available information and documentation resulting from the DMV CSI Systems Redesign project, phase 2 business process re-engineering effort, on this site.
DMV is currently performing a detailed business process analysis and re-engineering effort based on a use-case driven, UML object modeling approach (Iconix Process - as described by Iconix Software Engineering) utilizing results of the high level re-engineering activities performed during Phase 1. All information is being captured and documented using Sparx’s Enterprise Architect software. In addition, DMV is extracting embedded business rules from existing Natural source code of legacy application software.
DMV will post working documents (such as a domain model, nonfunctional, functional, and behavioral requirements, business rules defined and extracted, and use cases scenarios) as a result of the Phase 2 efforts on this site as they become available. They will be made available in the form of an HTML model as well as an XMI export file that can be utilized within Sparx’s Enterprise Architect software. All information and documentation found on this site is to be considered draft and work in progress.
