DMV provides a courier service to pick up the documents and deliver them to DMV headquarters for auditing and microfilming. The customer receives their plates, decals, and registration card at the dealership, and does not have to go to DMV to obtain their metal plates and decals. If orderinga special plate, the plates and decals are mailed directly to the customer from DMV’s manufacturing facility.
