For The Dealer:
DMV provides a courier service to pick up the documents and deliver them to DMV headquarters for auditing and microfilming.
All taxes and fees are transferred electronically.
The added convenience to the customer of the Online Dealer program reflect favorably on the dealer.
For The Customer:
The customer does not need to go to DMV to obtain his/her plates and decals. Instead, he can enjoy the convenience of getting the plates, decals, and registration card at the dealership.
If the customer has ordered a special plate, the plates and decals are mailed directly to the customer from DMV’s manufacturing facility.
