Motor Carrier Partnerships for Safer Highways
Join Secretary of Transportation Sean T. Connaughton, Senator Yvonne B. Miller, Virginia State Police Colonel W. Steven Flaherty, and DMV Commissioner Richard D. Holcomb for a briefing on the Commonwealth's commercial motor vehicle safety and compliance efforts.

* Immediately following the briefing, DMV and Virginia State Police will provide tours of the weigh station and inspection pit, and give demonstrations of technology used in motor carrier enforcement.
Directions
From northern Virginia/DC:
Take I-66 West to I-81 North. Continue I-81 North, exit 307, turn around and take I-81 South to the station.
From Roanoke:
Take I-81 North, exit 307, turn around and take I-81 South to the station.
From Richmond:
Take I-95 North to exit 133 Warrenton. Take Route 17 North to I-66 West to I-81 North. Continue on I-81 North to exit 307, turn around and take I-81 South to the station.

Enter the truck deceleration ramp on I-81 South. Drive across the truck scale and then turn right into the event parking area.
